Elisa Operti is a Professor of Strategy at ESSEC Business School, France.
She received her PhD in Management from Bocconi University and she was a post doctoral fellow at USI (Lugano). Her research focuses on how social networks affect behavior and innovation at the individual, organizational and regional level. She is particularly interested in the interplay of positive and negative ties in social networks, and in multilevel network processes. Her research has been published in various academic journals (Academy of Management Journal, Organization Science, Strategic Management Journal, Journal of Management) and has received funding from the French National Research Agency (ANR), from the Paris Seine Initiative and from the Swiss National Foundation (SNF).
